One of the book that leaves a deep impression in me is the Memoirs of Lee Kuan Yew : The Singapore Story and From Third World to First. It is the memoirs of Singapore's First Prime Minister who almost single-handedly build a progressive and modern nation from a small island deprive of natural resources. With a grand vision for Singapore and astute political judgement, Lee Kuan Yew managed to overcome all odds and made his vision a reality. This book reminds me that to achieve great things in life, we must first have a vision, works diligently towards it and eventuality will take care of itself.

Great advice. I can't believe the influence Lee Kuan Yew has had on so many native Singaporeans. However, after hearing him speak last year, I was really impressed and can see why his impact is so persuasive.
